Description:
A vulnerability was reported in GnuTLS. A remote user that can conduct a man-in-the-middle attack can spoof valid certificates.
The libgnutls component does not properly validate X.509 certificate chains. A remote user with the ability to conduct a man-in-the-middle attack can cause GNU TLS clients to trust arbitrary sites.
The vulnerability resides in 'lib/x509/verify.c'.
