Description:
A vulnerability was reported in mod_perl. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
The Apache::PerlRun module does not properly escape user-supplied data in the PATH_INFO variable before using the data in evaluating a regular expression. A remote user can request a specially crafted URL to potentially cause mod_perl to consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.
