Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Symantec AppStream. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
The ActiveX control includes several unsafe methods. A remote user can create a specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will access or modify information on the target user's system and potentially download arbitrary code (to be executed later) on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

The vendor was notified on October 17, 2008.
