Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Sun xVM VirtualBox. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A local user can create a symbolic link (symlink) from a file on the system to a temporary file ('/tmp/.vbox-$USER-ipc/lock') used by VirtualBox. When the temporary file is created, the symlinked file will be created or overwritten with the privileges of the user running the VirtualBox.
