Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can access image content from the target user's browser. A remote user can determine software installed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create HTML with a specially crafted canvas element that, in conjunction with an HTTP redirect, can access arbitrary images from other domains. Using moz-icon as the redirection target, a remote user can determine software installed on the target user's system.

Thunderbird and SeaMonkey are affected.

Firefox version 3 is not affected.

Georgi Guninski, Michal Zalewski, and Chris Evans reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can access image content from arbitrary domains on the target user's browser.

A remote user can determine software installed on the target user's system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.0.0.18).
