Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. Mozilla SeaMonkey is affected.

A remote user can create a URL with specially crafted UTF-8 characters that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

SeaMonkey is also affected.

Justin Schuh and Tom Cross of the IBM X-Force and Peter Williams of IBM Watson Labs reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create a URL that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   Mozilla has issued a fixed version of SeaMonkey (1.1.12), which is affected by this vulnerability.
