Description:
A vulnerability was reported in the Solaris Platform Information and Control Library daemon. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.
A local user can exploit a flaw in picld(1M) to disable system monitoring and prevent certain system utilities (i.e., prtdiag(1M), prtpicl(1M), prtfru(1M)) from functioning properly.

* Solaris 9 with patch 137400-01 or later

* Solaris 9 with patch 137401-01 or later
* Solaris 10 with patch 138069-01 or later
* OpenSolaris based upon builds snv_96 or later
