Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. The Mozilla Browser is affected.

A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory error and cause the browser to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

The layout engine is affected [CVE-2006-5464]. Jesse Ruderman and Martijn Wargers reported this vulnerability.

The XML.prototype.hasOwnProperty method is affected [CVE-2006-5747]. shutdown reported this vulnerability.

The JavaScript engine is affected [CVE-2006-5748]. Igor Bukanov and Jesse Ruderman reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded by the target user, may execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   Sun has issued a fix for CVE-2006-5748 for Mozilla on Sun Solaris 10, which is affected by this vulnerability.

Sun is working on a fix for CVE-2006-5748 for Solaris 8 and 9.
