Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Java Runtime Environment (JRE). A remote applet can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted Java applet that, when loaded by the target user, will obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Sun credits Tom Hawtin with reporting these vulnerabilities.

Solution:
HP has issued a fix, available at:
http://www.hp.com/go/java
For Java 1.5.0.00.00, update to Java 1.5.0.06 or subsequent.
For Java 1.4.2.11 and earlier, update to revision 1.4.2.11 or subsequent.
For Java 1.3.1.19 or earlier, update to revision 1.3.1.20 so subsequent.
