Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Blender. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

The 'kmz_ImportWithMesh.py' script makes an unsafe eval() function call. A remote user can create a specially crafted '*.kml' or '*.kmz' file that, when imported by the target user, will execute arbitrary Python commands on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

The vendor was notified on February 19, 2007.

Stefan Cornelius of Secunia Research discovered this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause arbitrary Python commands to be executed on the target user's system.
Solution:   Version 2.43 does not include the vulnerable script.
