Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Windows Client-Server Run-time Subsystem. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
The Client-Server Run-time Subsystem component of the Win32 subsystem does not properly process and manage file manifests when starting applications. A local user can create a specially crafted application and then start the application to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with kernel-level privileges.
Windows 2003 SP1 and Windows 2003 x64 Edition are not affected.
