Description:
A vulnerability was reported in KDE. A local user can view restricted files.
KDM stores the user's selection of the session type for login in a file in the user's home directory. A local user can create a symbolic link (symlink) from a critical file on the system to this file. Then, the local user can invoke KDM to view the contents of the symlinked file.
Ludwig Nussel reported this vulnerability.

A local user can view the contents of files that they do not otherwise have privileges to view.
