Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Ruby in the HTTP/XMLRPC server. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

The web server uses blocking sockets. A remote user can send a large amount of data to a socket to cause the target service to block other connections.

Tanaka Akira reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can block connections.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (1.8.4), available at:
