Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Squid in the processing of authentication requests. A remote user can cause Squid to crash.
A remote user can supply an HTTP request with a specially crafted scheme in the authentication header to cause Squid to crash.
Mike Diggins reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can cause the Squid process to crash.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a patch, available at:
