Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in (i)Site. A remote user can inject SQL commands. A remote user can download the application database and obtain the administrative password.
The 'admin/login.asp' script does not properly validate user-supplied input in the 'password' parameter. A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
A demonstration exploit is provided:
usename: attacker
password: ' or 'a'='a
The application database ('users.mdb') is stored by default in the web document directory. A remote user can download this file to obtain the target administrator's username and password. A demonstration exploit URL is provided:
http://[target]/databases/Users.mdb
The vendor was notified on May 24, 2005.
