Description: Two vulnerabilities were reported in Foxit Reader. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a PDF file with specially crafted JPEG2000 data that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory
access error and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
The
vulnerability resides in the JPEG2000/JBIG Decoder add-on. The Foxit Reader itself is not affected unless the add-on is installed.
The
vendor was notified on June 2, 2009.

Solution: The vendor has issued a fix (Foxit Reader 3.0 Build 1817 and JPEG2000/JBIG2 Decoder add-on version 2.0 Build 2009.616).
