Description: A vulnerability was reported in Crontab on Sun Solaris. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
A local user can exploit a race condition in the crontab(1) utility to inject arbitrary cron(1M) jobs into a target user's crontab
file, which will then be executed with the privileges of the target user.
Charles Morris of Old Dominion University reported
this vulnerability.

Impact: A local user can obtain cause arbitrary code to be executed with the privileges of the target user, including root privileges.
