Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Apache mod_ssl. A remote user can cause the server to crash in certain cases. HP OpenView Network Node Manager is affected.

When an SSL virtual host is configured with access control and a custom 400 error document, a remote user can send a specially crafted request to trigger a null pointer dereference. This may cause the server to crash when using the non-default worker
Multi-Processing Module.

Hartmut Keil reported this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:  HP has issued a fix for OpenView Network Node Manager, which is affected by this vulnerability.
