Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Lotus Domino in the processing of the Notes protocol (NRPC). A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can trigger a format string error in the processing of the NRPC protocol during authentication to cause the target server to crash.

The vendor credits Ollie Whitehouse of Symantec with reporting this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote user can cause the target server to crash.
Solution:  The vendor has issued fixed versions (6.0.5, 6.5.4).
