Description:  Luigi Auriemma reported a buffer overflow vulnerability in PicoPhone. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

It is reported that the logging function (enabled by default) contains a buffer overflow. A remote user can reportedly send a specially crafted packet to trigger the overflow and cause the software to crash or execute arbitrary code.

A demonstration exploit is available at:

Impact:  A remote user can cause the target user's application to crash or to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the target user.
Solution:  The vendor has released a fixed version (1.64), available at:
