Description: A vulnerability was reported in the TYPSoft FTP Server. A remote user can deny service on the target system.
intuit reported that a remote authenticated user can cause the target FTP service to become unavailable by issuing an FTP command
with the following type of parameter:
//../qwerty
According to the report, the mkd, xmkd, dele, size, retr, stor, appe, rnfr,
rnto, rmd, and xrmd commands are affected.
|
Impact: A remote authenticated user, including an anonymous user, can cause the FTP service to consume 100% of the CPU resources on the target system.
|
Solution: The vendor has released a fixed version (1.11) of the executable, available at:

A fix for the Alpha version is available at:
