Description:  Some overflow vulnerabilities were reported in the 'srcpd' Simple Railroad Command Protocol daemon. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the system.

m00 security reported that a remote user can connect to the daemon to trigger an integer overflow. A demonstration exploit transcript is provided:

It is also reported that there are stack overflow vulnerabilities in the handleSET(), handleGET(), and other method handlers. A remote user can trigger an overflow to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the srcpd daemon.
