Description:  A vulnerability was reported in the Rich Media Technologies JustAddCommerce e-commerce addon for Dreamweaver and FrontPage. A local user can view user passwords.

SecuriTeam reported an information disclosure vulnerability in the JustAddCommerce shopping cart software. It is reported that the 'rtm.log' file contains customer IDs and passwords that are stored in plain text.

SecuriTeam notes that this vulnerability was reported by Christian Paparelli.

A security vulnerability in the product allows attackers to gain sensitive client information by accessing a log file that is stored in an insecure manner. DETAILS On web sites, using JustAddCommerce (Rich Media's E-Commerce solution) you can find a file called rtm.log. This file contains Customer IDs and Passwords that are stored in plain text. This enables attackers to compromise the ecommerce sites' integrity and possibly order products in other people's names.
